adding some more pics
run for ryan
today is memorial day, and the hurst family, frances, jason and trevor all ran the harrington memorial mile and 5k. we ran it because all of the money raised went to the family of this guy named ryan cox who died in april. he used to be in our ward and it was so sad when we heard about the accident. the weather was pretty gloomy today too. when we woke up it was raining but the rain stopped while we were running. then it started right back up again. it was a hard course, frannie peed her pants, so did raeann i think. there were some intense uphill and downhill parts. :) ps, happy birthday trevor! you little studmuffin. here are some pictures:
wow. i have definetly had better pictures. oh well. but i do have awesome pink shorts. yes! sorry, there are only 3 pictures and basically of my family. someone was a slacker and didn't take pictures of us finishing like he was supposed to. (dad.) i hope that everyone has a fabulous memorial day! and happy bday trevor! love you all!

Dad's Blessing Day
Hi Horsley family that I love. I know this is my first attempt at posting so you'll need to be patient with me. I going to attempt to post the pictures from dad's blessing day. By the way dad, glad you are recovering so well. I think we have truly wearyied the Lord in your behalf with our prayers. It was great to get together with everyone. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE BARNEY FAMILY REUNION IS JUNE 14th FROM 4-8pm AT THE CHURCH PARK BY MY HOUSE WHERE IT WAS LAST YEAR. If we want to get together sooner, I reserved the park from 2-8pm so let me know. I'm looking forward to running with a bunch of the horsley crew (Hurst crew included) on Memorial Day in American For for our friend Ryan Cox who passed away in April. He used to be in our ward. Now I just need to figure out how to post pictures. Guess I'll go wake up Amberly.

Sister Weekend
Ok the weekend of June 19-22 works for the most people. We will be going to my bosses cabin above Heber. I think that because Janni is moving soon it would be best to get lots of sister time together so lets just go as sisters this year and maybe we can plan a different getaway with husbands later. We'll arrange rides as it gets closer. Thanks everyone for your patience if you have any questions please give me a call.

Sister's Weekend
OK eveyone we have a couple choices on sister weekend. We could go June 19-22 or June 26-29. It is also a possiblity to have husbands come, if not the whole time they could all come on Friday night. The cabin in Heber is really big and nice. We can get it for $1000 for the three nights. I just need to know what date that works best for the most people. I've been texting to see what dates works best but if I missed you or you didn't get the text leave a note on the blog or call me.

Everyone,
Dad is home. He came home this morning and is doing very good. He is moving around and can get up and down from a chair by himself. Rob got him a raised toliet seat and he was worried about that. We really appreciate everyone who came to see him. Lydia and Robert were there at least once a day and Lydia was there twice a day. We are grateful for your prayers and the family gathering last Sunday. What a great day. Thanks for those of you who were able to sit with me while I waited during the surgery. Thanks Sarah for the good breakfast from Mimi's. I have to say that the family has been very supportive. We have been very blessed and I'm so grateful to the Lord for how well he has done.
Much Love Mom

Janni,
Thank you for that great tribute to Dad. You are right he does rock along with mom. We are so blessed. I dido all that you said and I can add so much more. Like the time when we had just moved to Utah. I was having a hard time. Dad was concerned and wrote me a letter from work and put it in the mail on two seprate occasions. It meant the world to me and helped me a ton. I still have those letters and will until the day I die. Some day we should compile a book about all the good memories we have of growing up and of mom and dad. See you all Sunday.
Love ya, Jenn
