We were doing the calendar today in kindergarten and I stopped suddenly, startling my students and said, "it's my sister Maria's birthday today." "I must call her and wish her and wish her happy birthday." My students were mesmerized to hear me so animated, but they quickly got over it and our school day went on. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Maria.
