I wanted to tell you all the story of February 13th. We started out from the Library at 4:00 P.M. and even though the weather was bad we did ok and turned onto Redwood Road and that's where the trouble started. We got to Camp Williams and basicly ended up parked. We were ther for a long time and then we moved and thought we could get to the back road into Eagle Mountain because the main road, State Road 73, was closed because of VERY high winds and blowing snow and several accidents. Well we got in front of Smiths and the traffic stopped again. Someone coming from the other direction and also stopped and not moving told us that there had been an accident on the back road and she had been trying to go the other way for more that two hours. Finally at 9:15 the back road opened up and we began to move. We got home at 9:00 P.M. That's right it took us 5 hours to travel 35 miles. There is a big problem if the roads into Eagle Mountain close. Nothing was going into Eagle Mountain or Saratoga Springs for a very long time. We did get to listen to the whole Courgar Basketball game. They won. We listened to half of the Jazz game. We shared a granola bar that I had in my purse. We had plenty of gas and plenty of water and unlike other people we saw we didn't have any children in our car, but the worst was I had to go to the bathroom. Thank goodness everything is fine now. We love you all---Mom and Dad
