Home cooking

Hey all I am trying to be a better wife and plan meals ahead of time if you have idea's of good meal that aren't too hard please let me know. recipes are great too. thanks love ya all. This is Ruth by the way

Pork Verde-Need I say more?

One pork roast
one large can Verde sauce
one small can green enchilada sauce

brown your roast on all sides
then dump the cans in crock pot, along with your roast
let simmer for 4-6 hours
shread inside the pan with all juices.
eat in a tortilla shell with what ever you want on it
we like sour cream, lettuce, salsa, guacamola
yum you will love this

Beef stew.
3/4 lb. stew meat
small onion
3 cups small cut potatoes
1 1/2 cups sliced carrots
1 cup celery
1(4.5 oz) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1 envolope beef-mushroom soup mix
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp pepper
3 1/2 cups water
cook onion and beef until beef is browned. Stir in potatoes, carrots, celery, and mushrooms; cook and stir a couple of minutes. Add soup mix, thyme, pepper and water; mix well. Boil 15 min or until veggies are tender.

Chicken Enchaladas
4 chicken breast
1 can cream of chicken
16oz sour cream
2 cups shredded cheese

boil chicken till cooked
shred or cut the chicken into small chunks. put in a bowl with the cream of chicken and sour cream and 1 cup of cheese add a liitle salt and pepper to taste and roll into taco shells. put in pan and put rest of cheese on top. bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Brown ground beef. pour in 2 cans of diced tomatoes, 2 cans of pinto beans, or black beans. you can add a can of corn if you want. Season the ground beef with Taco spices, or for a different taste season with chili spices. It's like taco soup or chili.
